My mobo is Crossfire capable, but I do not like ATI GPUs for some reason. I have two NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 512MB PCIe GPUs. I know there is some connector that, umm, connects the two together. I can't find it anywhere, but I also don't know what it is called. lol. I have not opened any of them yet, to keep the static away, because everything I need for my Mod computer I have yet to buy. Does the connector come in the box or is it after market?

Thanks

This is an Asus P5K3 Deluxe mobo.
Its got the new Intel P45 Chipset which in the near future will support 45nm processors. 8GB Max DDR3 @ 1333Mhz, Crossfire, SATA, WiFi-AP, Heatsink Technology, PCI express, and more. Im Def not returning it.

Here's how:

BUT your motherboard is NOT compatible for an SLI set up. You really need an SLI capable motherboard, otherwise the 8600GTs' have to go and have ATI cards there. Since you do not like ATI, best option is just single Nvidia card like the 8800GTX or Ultra.

If you want to run SLI send your board back and get a board with the 680i chipset. Crossfire is for ATI cards, SLI is for nvidia cards.

Tommy d is right. But, you have a crossfire board so you didn't get one. Just as well though since a crossfire board won't support nvidia's SLI.
