Are you asking to simplify? If so, add the x terms together and the -5 and +9 together you will have:

3x^2+6x+4.

If you are to set it equal to zero and solve for x, you will need to use the quadratic formula because this cannot be factored.

I assume you mean: 3x^2 + 4x - 5 + 2x + 9 = 3x^2 + 6x + 4

3x^2 + 4x - 5 + 2x + 9
Add like terms
3x^2 + 6x + 4 => answer

I don't know. You tell me what that's supposed to be equal to.

If you want to know how to simplify it, then combine like terms. The 4x and 2x can be combined, as can the -5 and 9.

3x2+4x+2x+9-5
=>3x2+6x+4

assumin that u r in need of findin the factors , i am proceedin further,
3x2+6x+4=0

for the eqn ax2+bx+c=0 the roots are [-b (+or-) sqrt(b^2 -4ac) ] / (2a)

here a = 3, b=6 , c= 4 ,sub and solve
u get
[-6 (+ or -) sqrt(36-4*3*4)] / 6

= [-6 (+ or -) sqrt(-12)] / 6

=[-6 (+ or -) i sqrt(4 * 3)] / 6

=[-6 (+ or -) i 2sqrt(3)] / 6

=2[-3 (+ or -) i sqrt(3)] / 6

= [-3 (+ or -) i sqrt(3)] / 3

= -1 (+ or -) i sqrt(3) / 3
