You are so right...it boggles my mind how the wackos on the left want to blame Bush for 9-11. I will promise you this, history will prove Bush was right!
If those who care to remember, Bush said his NUMBER ONE job after 9-11 was to protect the United States. AND YOU KNOW WHAT! HE HAS. I really don't give a rip about world opinion...We were attacked! No body else...China wasn't, Russia wasn't.
It is time to wake up folks and stand united! I am not saying we need to agree with everything Bush does, I for one don't. But on the issue of protecting our nation from enemies from without and from within...we must stand together.
With all of the left wing bla..bla..bla.. WHAT ARE THEY going to do IF they regain the White House and we are attacked again???? Still blame Bush? WAKE UP AMERICA!!

I don't think that the Bible ever says honor your leader. However, you are right that the President is not the cause of all the problems facing the United States. The events that would culminate in 9/11 were put in motion decades before Bush took office and every President during that time has to take some of the blame.

That's all fine and dandy if you're a Christian, but what about the rest of us? Luckily, there are a few of us with a good head on our shoulders. We realize what it means to be an American and are grateful for the opportunity to be born into such a great nation. With our patriotism intact, we respect the role of the President of the USA.
Most of the nonChristians, unfortunately, hate the president with a passion and show far too much disrespect as a part of their decisions to disagree with his choices. I can definitely see why the conservatives challenge or question the loyalty of these people. But at the same time, I believe many of you are isolating yourselves with your religious talk and causing more people to not take you seriously.
Americans should honor the president and support America not because of religious conviction but because of a respect for the U.S. and what it means to be an American.

It is very plain to see that you do not know what you are talking about and people like you tend to play on the emotional heartstrings that 9/11 caused. Are you advocating that China invade the United States and hang whatever president we have elected or tolerated? That's what we did to Iraq. Nobody is saying that George Bush does anything but run his big mouth. He's too stupid to create policy, he just speaks for the extremely wealthy who are using poor people as cannon fodder and making them believe fervently, as you do, that they are giving themselves to a worthy cause. To each his own and more power to you. Personally, I think the money that is being spent in Iraq should be spent in upgrading the infrastructure in the United States and protecting our borders. If that was happening, perhaps the bridge in Minnesota would not have collapsed and places like New Orleans could have been rebuilt.

OMG! Are you for real? What is democracy about if not giving citizens the right--no, the responsibility--to question its leaders.
We citizens of the United States of America would be remiss if we did not question our leaders, hold our leaders accountable, hold our leaders to higher standards than we would ordinary folk, and expect our leaders to be humble servants to those who elected them. Yes, we need strong leaders; but leaders who represent, protect, and serve today's and tomorrow's citizens.
And since you are compelled to bring the bible and Christianity into this--Jesus warned against BLIND faith. Blind faith in Bush (or any other elected official) is not only wrong-headed, but un-democratic and irresponsible for a US citizen!

At the end of the day the buck stops with Bush. He accepted the responsibility of our Commander and Chief. Unfortunately mistakes are made even when lives are involved. Believe it or not, Bush, Rumsfeld, and others are deeply affected by the lives lost while fighting terrorism. It is so easy for people to do 10 minutes of research on the web and come to some sort of conclusion about what he (or anyone else) should or shouldn't have done. The men who fight and run this war are affected emotionally in ways that most of us will never comprehend. To make a mistake with one life is devastating. To run a war for 8 years where thousands die is unimaginable. Just as many learn to appreciate their teachers and parents as they get older, people also learn that leaders are not some sort of omnipotent gods.

While I am not 100% sure I agree with your logic, you do make some good points.
1. Honor the office of the president, even if you are not particularly fond of the sitting president.
2. Bush did not cause all the problems in the US. No president has ever had that kind of power of authority.

I respect the presidency, but I cannot respect the man currently holding that office.
With a different president, I believe the war on terror would have remained focused on Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups, rather than invading a nation uninvolved in 9-11. Bush demanded they find ties to Iraq on 9-12. They found none, so he spouted about WMD's until the eleventh hour before the invasion and began to speak of liberating the Iraqi people.
Is his strategy to lure all of Al Qaeda into Iraq?

Thank you !!
We should honor our Leader or replace the leader with one we can honor.
All the conflict and political differences allow our enemies the advantage over the US.
"United We Stand - Divided We Fall"
Folks, we're falling.
Please take note. The President is not pulling the strings. He is only the Puppet. The Men behind the curtain are pulling the strings and it is beyond time we all wake up and realize this.

George W. Bush has caused havoc to our values. 9/11 was a strategy all right. A strategy to kill Americans to go to war for financial/political power. Of course, Bush didn't cause all the problems. Top level dem's are in hand in hand with bush (e.g Clinton's). Bush has reaped the political benefits of 9/11 and has gotten many of his cronies rich. 9/11 was a tragedy alright, but nothing like the tragedy Bush is promoting today.
