The anti abortion movement changed everything. They are the ones who brainwashed so many ignorant poor people into voting against their own best interests because of their idea of morality. They also united all the different christian religions, who used to argue amongst each other. These poor suckers used to vote Democrat.

Because they don't speak for the people, they speak for big business and special interests...they want to "take care" of everyone instead of promoting personal responsibility. They are the "fun" parent that ends up rasing a hellion becuase there was no discipline...that is why you hear about so many people being Democrats when they are young (I was), then growing up, seeing how the real world works, and switching to another party. And because they are busy calling our troops baby killers and terrorists...

Because the DNC keeps nominating losers. They could have nominated Lieberman in either 2000 or 2004 and won. They could have nominated Wesley Clark in 2004 and probably won. They keep picking the absolute schlubs out of the mix. Should they be stupid enough to nominate Hillary or Obama next year, the trend will continue.

Because most Americans deep down inside know that they are not the best thing for America. Maybe the Republicans aren't either, but at least it is better to err on the side of conservatism than on liberalism. That would be scary indeed!

Because they tend to vote for things before that vote against things, they want to invade our Allies, they go to terrorist nations and bad mouth our nation, they want to appease our enemies... should I go on?

They don't control the Diebold machines don't have thugs intimidate people counting ballots, notr a rigged Supreme Cout to select a Republican.
