In Moncton, New Brunswick (my hometown) there is a street named September 11 2001. I can't imagine how the town planners were able to see that as a good thing
There was a great push in NB to name all streets so that the emergency systems would be smooth. The residents of small country lanes got to name their own. My very favourite one is Stormin' Norman lane. It's outside of Port Elgin and someone has their cottage there.

St Johns Boulevard in Jacksonville, FL, which is no where near the river, the bay, or the ocean. In the 60s it was a white sand trail through the trees, now it's a six-lane highway with a divider. How things change!

Nota Road! A friend was trying to explain how to get to this road located on a gravel road running through the woods. When I asked him, "Is that the one right after Isa Road, my friend hollared out to his wife, "Are we before or after Isa Road?" He didn't even get my joke!
There is also I Did It My Way not far from me as well as Some Way!

"Ila Joy" in Altadena, CA. So tacky, and I supposed named after someone's mother. I have always thought that Mariposa (butterfly) also in Altadena, CA is a pretty name. Oh yes, and in Pasadena, CA there is or was a "Herkimer St" Ugly!
