'I luv u' was 4 588 8, and 'I miss u was 4 6477 8, or something weird like that. If we were paging each other from an unknown number, we all had codes that we'd enter at the end of the number. I was 19-- so 555-1234 19 to let my friends know who was paging. I still remember my pager number-- 601-4090.
Geez, I feel like a teenager again, just writing all this out ; )
