Too old.

Will take a few minutes to laugh at all the folks that are being told that they need to do something (other then criticize) to support their way of life.

Has it ever crossed your mind that this war may be about more then oil? Probably not. Imagine what the world would be like if we had given Hitler a smackdown in the 30s? Saddam was on the same path in the middle east. Want WWIII to start? Ignore and appease those that state openly that they plan on controlling the whole region, and then some.

I'll go to work since I am not eligible for the draft. I would also say that its about time... we can't ask our soldiers to repeat tours of duty for 15 months; that's insane.... if we have to have a war then we have to give the existing soldiers some relief.

People just think that armies can last forever... that is so deluded. A large fraction of our soldiers are reservists. If you don't think that 15 months in a war theater won't take a toll on ordinary citizens, let alone a career soldier, then you are all deluding yourselves.

This is also why we should never allow a leader to make war against a CONCEPT... instead of an actual nation. This sets us up for an infinite war.

Well lets see I am sure if there is a draft which the democrats want all good democrats will take the draft and serve their country with honor just like they are doing now.

I like how the democrats want a draft but no one else.

So if you are so concern what don't you join up.

btw: to answer you question the answer would be D. I am a vet served 12 and was honorable discharge for injuries I recieve while serving this country.

So how about you what have done for this country?

D. other...I have served, I am against starting a draft primarily because of the number of people I served with that eventually decided they just couldn't 'cut it' and did whatever they could to get kicked out. The military is not for everyone.

That's a big question, and I suppose depends on when that finally happens. If they do it in the next few years, I'll probably enlist, so an unwilling boy of 18 doesn't have to fight in my place. If it takes them 10-20 years, I may be too old to be useful.

D) Nothing. Because the draft isn't going to happen.

I think if the draft was started in this situation most Americans according to polls would be against their children fighting in this War, so there would be an uprising. No one wants to die for a cause they don't believe in.

Your options are limited and ignore the fact that we live in a democracy.

I will use the democracy to overturn the draft.
