"Where the heart is" is a very good book. i usually like auto biographies, but i liked this book for a change. Its also on Oprahs book list (not that i pick books from that). So i would reccomend that.

I love Dean Koontz stuff too, and The Secret Garden, so maybe our tastes are similar. I like a little variety too. I just read the Twilight Saga (Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse) by Stephenie Meyer. I really enjoyed them. It's a fantasy romance sort of thing. I had so much fun, I've read them all twice within the last month! If you like romance, you'll like them.
In lieu of that, I'd really recommend Pride and Prejudice or The Little Princess (same author as Secret Garden.) I loved them also!

Read Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie... it's light hearted, frivolous and FUN. Very entertaining... I think you'll like it. I read a lot of suspense (mysteries, crime, that sort of thing) and I've read a lot of Koontz, too... and sometimes your brain just starts to hurt and you need something easy on the brain... this book is just that.

Wow, The Secret Garden is my favorite book of all time! I really enjoyed Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. It's a sweet book, as are his other books.
