I've ran every errand for more than ten years barefoot, and I don't intend to wear footwear ever again. Fortunately the weather rarely gets very cold here -only a little snow sometimes- and I've never even SEEN a 'no shoes, no shirts, no service' sign here in the Netherlands. But even in the US, there are NO health laws requiring footwear in stores, and not all stores have dress codes.

I do them barefoot almost all the time, it feels great to be able to walk around in bare feet and no one ever complains or stares strangely at me, and even if they did I would go barefoot still. A nice walk through the grass of the park is a great feeling for my soles.

Funny you should say that. Today i walked around a whole shopping mall, shopping barefoot. Now i have black feet but it beats shoes. Very liberating;)

No, because all the places where I run my errands have signs posted: "Shirts and Shoes Required."
