I have received more than 70 blood transfusions the last 5 being less than a year ago. I have not been able to donate blood for the past 22 years but if I could I would.

I would but my blood has iron deficiency. I used to give all the time. One time I banked my own blood for an operation. It was supposed to be free and ended up not being, that pretty much turned me off to the blood drive thing.

Absolutely. I've given blood loads of times.

But now that I live in France I can no longer donate because the French won't take British blood. Remarkable but true. They are worried that I could have been contaminated with vCJD.

Are you crazy? You give blood when you are at work. An hour off in a good cause and a cuppa at the end of it.

absolutly... every time that i am eligable to give i try to give.. actually im due to give in the next couple of weeks i think



its always a good idea to give if u are able cause u never know when u may need blood and u would have wanted someone to gave for u

Yes, hospitals send me letters trying to get me to donate just because I have Oneg blood. Aparently there's always a shortage. So I always give if there is a fundrasier/blood drive. It makes me feel good to help out.
