What is the quotient of 3 over 4 and negative 1 over 2?


Please explain to me? =/ I'm probably wrong..but i think I'm suppose to divide?

3/4 = 0.75 quotient gives a remainder 0

-1/2 = -0.5 quotient gives a remainder 0

Yes you are supposed to divide.

/ means you have to divide

(3/4) / (-1/2)
= (3/4) x (-2/1)
= -3/2
= -1 -1 remainder
-1 is the quotient & -1 is the remainder

3/4 = 0.75

1/2 = 0.5

A quotient is the result of division.

(3/4)/(-1/2)
=-(3/4)(2/1)
=-3/2 ANS.
