How can use my OS disk again?

I did installed WINDOW VISTA on my computer, and i have to reinstall it again becuase of some prblem, but my computer goes on HD and read exsitng OS, i want to CMOS and checge the setting, when i turn on my computer to be boot from CD, it does not work, any suggestion?

watch the screen as the computer boots. There may be a message that says press Fx to enter setup press Fy to change boot order (or something similar). Restart the machine and press the correct key to change the boot order. If there is no such message, check the computer mfgr's website to see if they say how to temporarily change the boot order.
