had on line members of staff monitoring it? There are questions asked on here regarding the McCanns that are relevant and need to asked but there are also questions that have no meaning at all and they make people angry. I've seen the staff on other sections and with the rise in questions on the News & Events section about the McCanns case, the rise in violations and the rise in email abuse - would you be happy to see this section monitored. I would if it reduced the amount of question that are offensive and have no meaning.

What are your thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea to me. It might cut down on the amount of unfair violations too.

Well, there are moderators on the Mirror forum, and you very rarely see a troll, or abuse.
But then you can just ignore it here, unless, as you point out you are wrongly violated.
Some people though, give violations out just because they dont like the type of Q. And I am afraid alot on here think NO Q's should be asked about the McCanns. That is wrong.

Maybe they could "bundle" similar topics such as McCanns, etc. then interested users could enter that category for the latest news on that particular subject. For instance, a particular topic's keyword pops up, say, 10 times - then it would automatically roll over into a "hot topic" category.

i think that only one account, for each person, no cloning, and all reports be looked at instead of just sending voilations.
nowthat i have said that, i have three accounts, because i lost six, for asking questions about the maccanns.

thats a good post from you , have a star, cheers
