The neighborhood I lived in when I was little had one. You could see the house from my yard, and my cousin would make up these elaborate stories about how the guy that lived there (it was a vacant house) was a maniac and kept people chained to the tree. My cousin is still completely full of crap.

Yes. We went in once, and tried to catch the frogs out of the pool. There was a fence over the pool so no one would fall in, my sister got on top of the fence to catch a frog, and fell in. she came out looking like a swamp monster. It was really Gross!

yeah, it was the EX'S house that recently burned down!! the grandparents were wonderful; but, they were old and could not control the younger, wild bunch!!
