The problems first started when I was playing a game and the screen would just go crazy and give me an error message. I would turn it off and go to something else. Then when I returned to play, I turned it on and it would start the process of booting up but the screen would scroll (move upwards and then start at the bottom again). Then it would go to a blank white screen. I have to unplug it to turn it off because ctrl/alt/delete didn't even work. When I turned it back on I tried to start it in safe mode. I could tell that the black with white letters was on the screen but the screen was going crazy (moving all over the place to fast you couldn't read anything.) I got it into safe mode but all a saw was a bunch of different locations (for lack of a better work) that all said /driver/blahblahblah at the end. What is going on with my machine. It is broken for good or is it fixable?

Yea its toast just unplug it and send it to me I'll get rid of it for you. NO!

Okay sounds like a Video drive or video board problem.

Information is very important.
Is this a arcade cabinet Mame game?
Is their proper ventilation for all components?
What Rom (game) was you playing?
What Version of MAME are you using?
Are you using a front end program?
Are you using Dos, Linux or Windows?
What type of Monitor are you using?
Are you using a video converter for use with a tv?

With only the information given I will make this guess: Your video driver has been corrupted. I would guess you have a MAME cabinet and it has either a arcade crt monitor, regular TV, or a flat panel monitor. Anyway it would be using an after market Video card and possibly a converter to switch the signal to a S-cable. Look for the motherboard, on the rear there should be a regular plug for a monitor to plug into. Plug a monitor in this spot and you should be able to see whats going on, and make corrections.

Good luck.
