Sometimes I do believe in horoscopes, I believe only in the part that tells you how you are. Personally, I do not believe when they tell you how your future is going to be like because fate is not settled until you decide and I don't believe in compartibility with the other signs because you get to choose if the relationship is going to work or not. I am Capricorn and I have researched about my sign, and it is true what they say about my character.

No. But the rubbish written in the papers etc. for a particular sign must fit somebody in the 1/12th of the population under that sign.

You can read one horoscope 'prediction' for a day in several different sources and find they contradict each other viz; a good time for money....a bad time for money; good time to make a decision....do not make decisions now etc.

If it provides you with comfort though believe in it. As a scientist I don't but I don't believe in god either!

No! Definitely don't !

Horoscope had been invented in the ancient times when
people lived in fear of the unexpected and thought that
constellation of "stars"(planets) can influence their fate.
Magicians, fortunetellers made a business out of the superstitious belief of the people and that business is
still booming today, when we should all know that our will-
power ,our decisions and our actions-reactions will form
and govern our life and the constellation of planets has
absolutely no influence in our practical daily life .
Reading a horoscope I burst into laughter, because whatever
these fake-scientists(astrologers) write in their horoscopes
I CAN ALWAYS ASSERT and PROOVE the CONTRARY in
MY LIFE !! So, what I believe in is internal energy, guidance
and controll.

Hmmm, they're a lot of verses in the Bible that address this. If you're interested here are just a few...

"For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him." Colossians 1:16
So why not seek out the creator rather than the created?

"When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?" Isaiah 8:19

"All a man's ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the Lord." Proverbs 16:2

"If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, "Let us follow other gods" (gods you have not known) "and let us worship them," you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him." Deuteronomy 13:1-4

" 'I will set my face against the person who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute himself by following them, and I will cut him off from his people." Leviticus 20:6

" 'Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God." Leviticus 19:31

"I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!" Galatians 1:6-8

"My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me." 1 Corinthians 4:4

Girl, I couldn't stomach the virgin birth, purgatory for dead babies, and all the other clap-trap I was fed as a kid. I'm sure as heck not going to fall for that horrorscope junk.

I learned to think logically and base my beliefs on evidence.

Astrology dates from a time in history when people had an excuse for ignorance, because the brightest people of their day believed in it too. Not so in 2007.

No and if someone thought about the question logically how many people are there with the same astrological sign and have their horoscope come true?
