What type of yarn is best for crocheting Wash rags? (dish cloths for dishes)?

Worsted weight cotton is the best.

Lily Sugar and Cream is a good brand, but the value of the Lion Kitchen Cotton is better.

I have made quite a few of them, launder with other towels, but only air dry these as for some reason they will fade and shrink up quite a bit!

I think the 100% cotton is the best. It makes a nice absorbent dish rag.

B Anne is correct. Think it's called "sport yarn". The synthetic yarn rags are terrible to use in comparisson.
