It is the same reason why all pro lifers think that all pro choicer are immoral atheists.

When somebody has such a categorically different opinion than you one such an emotional issue you automatically assume they must have a completely contradictory set of values and beliefs to justify this.

However that is not the case, it is just a stereotype.

I don't feel that way. I am pro life because I am a Liberal Christian.

I am not sure of the answer you are seeking , but if you find it, you might be able to reverse for the question "why do conservatives and Republicans think that people that are pro choice are all Democrats or Liberals. For them to assume that only Democrats and Liberals are the only ones that have gotten abortions is nonsense.

Actually Christianity has NOTHING to do with it. Jesus never uttered a single word on the subject. Ever. People who believe that abortion is wrong, based only on religious reasons, are stupid.

Here's the deal. Politicians are a terrible choice of people to make moral decisions. If you really want to get to the heart of the ethics of a medical decision, you need to speak with a doctor. Doctors, and specifically the AMA, have reviewed the risks and benefits, and found the procedure to be ethical.

Which is it Republicans- you don't want the government telling people how to live their lives, except when it comes to a woman's vagina?

1st no one is pro-abortion just choice. I imagine anyone can be anti-choice from any religion. It is the Christians that are the most verbal. You don't have to be of a religion to decide where you stand on the subject.

Pro life not because of the bible. It's a constitutional issue. The baby has rights, the first being of LIFE, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Once cell division has taken place, life has started, and the baby then should be allowed to exercise it's right to life.

I find it amusing that you made a sweeping assumption accusing others of making sweeping assumptions.

I'm pro life......I can't find my Bible!

If you have ever seen an ultrasound of a baby it is pretty poweful. "That's a human being in there" was my first thought.

Well, I am a Christian who read the Bible and Jeremiah Chapter one proves to me that we are HUMANS, NOT FETUSES when we are first conceived.

I could care less what pro-choicers (or more accurately, baby killers) think.
