My dog does that EVERY time, after he eats. I find it disgusting, but funny. lol
I wonder why he does that? lol

My dog does. He gulps his food, then comes up to me, and wipes his face on me and burps. He means well.

My dog coughs on me after she drinks a ton of water....she does it every time! It is disgusting, especially if I'm eating. I don't know why she does it...I guess the same reason your dog burps on you, for whatever reason that is.

In parts of the world burping is considered a Thank you, maybe your dog is thanking you. One of my dogs doesn't like drinking out of his water dish, so he drinks from the toilet (No chemicals, fresh water) then he comes and tries to lap my face, ewwwwwwwww!
