I just ordered that Smoke Away herbal supplement stuff and it worked for me before. It may be nothing; it may be nothing more than a Placebo, but I quit for a year after using it. Then like an idiot I started smoking again last month and am up to 2-3 packs a day. I am a terrible chain smoker and don't feel comfortable unless I have a cigarette in hand.

Personally, I think that cigarettes should be illegal.

Hey, I just quit after smoking 3 packs a day for 40yrs., just woke up one morning and said to myself, self that's enough of that siht, and haven't had one in over six weeks. It may not seem a long time to some folks, but anyone who's ever tried to quit a bad habit knows it ain't easy, gotta take it one day at a time...Good luck and hope ya make it...

my dad just quit after 50 years of smoking 60 a day,he used nicotine replacement gum and swears by it,give it a try.i don't think the illegal thing should happen though just because you dont smoke any more, and just to let you know theres nothing as bad as a reformed smoker lecturing smokers, its great if thats what you want to do but some people want to continue smoking no matter what

Quit cold turkey. Then go to the doctor and tell him you need proczak to make it through the tough time of not smoking. Write yourself a note everyday about not smoking. Go online and look at pictures of diseased lungs and people. That's what I did and I haven't smoked for 12 years. I couldn't sleep at first and the doctor gave me the proczak to regulate my sleep patterns for 6 months and it worked. i used to get up to smoke in the night. And when I quit I still woke up. But Proczak is an anti-depressent and it did take the edge off withdrawall too. Good luck and stick with it. They should be illegal.

Part of the addiction is the fixation of having a cigarette in your hand or mouth. Try using a toothpick to hold and chew on instead of a cigarette.

I quit in one second when my 1yr old son saw me smoking and I could see i his eyes he was curious. That was 2 years ago. I smoke occasionally at a bar.
