I am in subjection, I recognize my husband as the head of the house, but I am not ruled over. I have opinions, I voice them, and if something goes against the core of what I believe, I Will put my foot down. But if he makes a decision I don't agree with, yet it doesn't conflict with my beliefs and principles, I will try to support that, and not say I told you so if it fails. He in turn shows me consideration for my views, and respect for my thoughts.

It depends on the situation, we switch.

An example, in finances I'm the one in charge of keeping track of everything and our budget, etc. But I prefer having him drive, when we go places I prefer that he's the one that handles the check etc. (the money is ours he doesn't pay out of his pocket.) and I'm sure to many people it would appear that he makes all the choices. But the truth is, I know he'd never decide anything without taking me into consideration and I'm yet to find any reason to not trust him.

My wife is because she KNOWS I put her before myself.

It's easy for a wife to be submissive if she knows that she is truly loved unconditionally.
