I did from 14 years to 40 years. I quit almost 10 years ago

I started smoking when I was 18 and I still smoke, almost 40 years later. I have tried to quit, but I guess that I am too weak to do it. I did quit once for 3 months and went back to it.
I did give up drinking totally, from 2 fifths of gin a day, I went cold turkey.
Congratulations, my friend, I wish I had the will power that you do. You are a very strong person in so many ways any way.

I smoked cigarettes in high school just to be cool of course but I never liked it so I just stopped after about a week. I can't stand to be around the smoke at all now, it is soooo nasty, congratulations on quitting.

I have never smoked. My sister has been smoking for 14 years (she is 29).

Never smoked. When I was 11 my father quit and it inspired me never to take up the habbit. Glad I didn't

that's great that you quit! i started when i was 13 and now i'm 23 and still smoking. i have tried to quit lots of times but it isn't long before i start to pull my hair out! so i say forget it and smoke!

No, I've never smoked, but my husband does. (I love how cigarettes in the package smell like raisins.)

I have never and I will never.
They are just way to bad for you.
But I understand that it can be hard to quit.
Both my parents smoke.
Seeing what it does to them is why I would never do it myself.

no, i never have and i refuse to ever start. It is a waste of time and money. also i can't stand the smell, it gets me sick.
