You can find single deck blackjack at almost every casino in Las Vegas, the only problem is, it's 6/5 blackjack.

There are only 2 good places left to play single deck BJ, the El Cortez has 6 single deck 3/2 tables and the Four Queens has 2.

Slots-A-Fun has one table, but good luck getting on it.

Single Blackjack They sure do. If you're not sure where to look, check New York New York or the Monte Carlo casinos, as I have seen single tables there on a recent trip. The Sahara Casino, Las Vegas Yes at the Sahara Casino as of 2007. I played quiet a few hands there last time we visited. Be aware though if you change your betting pattern they will reshuffle the deck. ie betting 10 dollars a hand through most of the deck and towards the end throw down a 50 dollar bet....they will stop a reshuffle before that hand is played. BEWARE! In a single deck game dealt out of the hand, a good blackjack dealer can deal you, himself, or anyone else at the table any card or cards he wants and you will never know it. Now, I am not saying that they do this in Las Vegas or anywhere else but, if a good dealer wanted to, he could do it at anytime and you would not have the slighest clue it was happening. Just keep this in mind the next time you play against a dealer who's dealing a single deck game from his hand. Actually ... The previous poster is incorrect. The Nevada Gaming Commission keeps a very close eye on all gaming activities. Cheating is most definately not tolerated in any shape or form. A dealer will not risk being banned from working in any casino in the state of Nevada by cheating. Also it is a myth that a dealer has the ability to deal out cards in any particular order or to stack the deck. However, the other posters are correct, single deck Blackjack is most definately to the house's advantage. Single deck is still played throughout Nevada but it is slowly being phased out because of cheating, not by the dealers but by the players. And if you are wondering why I'm so certain of this, it is because I have been in the gaming industry for over 30 years and I am currently a pit boss in a Nevada casino. I HATE TO DISAGREE WITH A COLLEAGUE BUT I MUST As a former casino regulator, I have seen the ability of dealers to deal whatever cards they want in a single deck game. I never said that the regulatory authorities and casino surveillance do not keep a close eye on gaming activities but it is simply impossible to watch everything going on in a casino and, even when watching, it is not easy to identify a dealer who is dealing whatever cards he wants. Nor have I said that the regulatory authorities tolerate cheating because, indeed, they do not and, when a dealer is caught, his or her license is revoked. But the risk of license revocation, and even arrest, does not deter some misguided dealers. The fact is that dealers have been arrested in most, if not all, casino jurisdictions for various forms of cheating or theft. Ironically, when a dealer deals cards, which he chooses, either to himself or to players, it is, oftentimes, to make the player win. The dealer does this either as a misguided way of trying to increase his tips or because he is in collusion with the players to rob money from the casino. If he does it to increase his tips, then, after receiving those tips, he may then deal losing hands to the player in order to even things out and avoid suspicion. In short, the point is that (1) proficient dealers do have this ability; (2) license revocation and arrest does not deter all dealers from engaging in this or other illegal activities; and (3) if a misguided dealer in a single deck game, decides to deal whatever cards he wants, as a player, you will never know it.
