what's the funniest thing you have ever seen happen on a golf course......
mine was these guys ahead of us, we were waiting for him to hit the ball to the next green and one of them was showing off in front of us, he was pretty loud and kept saying that us girls were rubbish at golf, so the guy took off his shirt, did a little wiggle with his bum, swung at the ball and his club flew out of his hands and landed in a pond...me and my mates fell about laughing our heads off, and he stormed off the green in a big strop...we saw him later in the clubhouse pretty red faced, but i made it worse by saying "ooh look heres mister know it all" he got up, mumbled something to us and got in his car, i have never laughed so much in my life, never seen him again after that, what was the funniest thing you've ever seen happen on a golf course?

Randy ...that was sheer luck...i would have loved to have seen that..lol.....i hit a shot that had to go over a lake onto the green, i belted it good and it flew for a few meters, only to plop into the water at the very edge of the pond...it used to be my lucky ball...but not any more...lol....

It happened to me actually. We were on vacation in Florida and my buddy and I were on the 18 hole. I put my second shot in the left hand green side bunker under the branches of an oak tree. I took my sand wedge and took a full swing, bladed the ball and sent it sailing. It hit the roof of a 5 story condo, bounced off the side of the 3rd story balcony, hit the cart path, bounced 2-3 times and landed 2 feet from the hole. Left me a 2 footer for birdie, which I made. My buddy fell out of the cart laughing.

Hi tatts. Yes, long time, no type! This is a very funny story of yours here. I'm afraid I can't contribute, as I never go on a golf course. I suppose the funniest thing to be seen on a golf course will be me, as I'd have no clue what to do! I'll probably hold the golf club the wrong way up or something stupid like that. I used to play putt though - does this qualify?!! Your answer to my pet question was brill (yes, I know an 1980's word). Dah.............

there was a guy in my club in glasgow who was notorious for bad temper, he hit a ball into the green and sliced it.the ball landed 4 feet from a wall, so he had to perform a deft chip over the wall to reach the green. of course he fluffed the shot and the ball landed tight against the wall, well he exploded and hit his club into the wall and then the club snapped in two.me and the other players were falling about wetting ourselves at this idiot.

He felt self committed and guilty conscious and total ashamed to all of you.
He might be dismiss from the club. Maybe some guy reported his behavior. He maybe out of bound from the Club for a few months or a year.

my brother was goofing off once and tried to golf like Happy Gilmore. While he was running to hit the ball he slipped on the semi wet grass and landed right on his butt. THEN after all the laughs he hit his ball and it landed right in the pond. Ploop! hahahaha!

when i used to play we had a rule that if you 'whiffed' the ball you would have to play the next hole with your pants around your ankles. that was pretty damn funny.
