Definitely to become inspired. I just wish I could stop eating snacks the whole time I watch the show :-( .

I watch to get inspired. But those folks are given an opportunity of a lifetime.
We would have dramatic rapid transformation if we were put into that situation. Just think about it, if we were able to work out all day long, have a personal trainer training us and given healthy choices for our diets, of course that could be us to. Even with the occasional temptation.

A little of both, I guess. It is cool to see people that had given up on ever being in good shape realize they can do it.
And as someone who could lose a few pounds it's nice to know that someone way bigger than me is doing it, so why can't I? Granted they have the luxury of their own trainer for a few months, plus a top quality gym, controlled environment and the reward of money if they win. But still.

I guess both, because during some of the stories I can feel my eyes well up a little.........but I love watching when they work out and try and get new fresh ideas for my workouts granted I have to modify them a little like Jilliam and the big tires she was making them flip, wish I had big tires like those. I love working out outdoors, I used to grab a friend and while our kids were at football and cheering practice we used to do a workout that she use to hate me for......huge hill we would do sprints, through the woods we would do lunges and squats during one of our times around another time around at the picnic table we would do dips and inclined push ups....we had so much fun and it was different everytime.

For motivation to work out. Which I guess is to be inspired. But really, watching anybody work out makes me get motivated. And sometimes I learn something from the trainers.

To become inspired!! I would LOVE to be on the show, but the one thing holding me back is standing in front of the world in spandex and having my weight on blast......The rest of it would be a breeze!

I watch it to see the restoration of their self esteem. It isn`t so much about the amount that they lose it`s the fact that they are committed to being healthier.
