I still love her and the prettynice daughther she gives me, but I can't really forget what she did.

What did you do or not do that sent her into the arms of another man? There's always 2 sides to every story it would be interesting to hear her side.

If she had an affair while ya'll were together, what makes you think she's going to stop when ya'll are together in the future in a marriage? She'll obviously succumb to her adulterous desires sooner or later, marriage or no. So don't marry her. Actually, you ought to stop seeing her, period. A decent guy like you DESERVES a faithful woman, not some cheater.

Slippery slope here. If you do go forward with it I recommend you put off the wedding for a couple of YEARS or up to half the life span of your relationship. WHY? Because you need her to re-establish her faithfulness and that if she wants to marry you she needs to earn your trust again. TRUST CAN NOT BE GIVEN. IT HAS TO BE EARNED OR ITS WORTH NOTHING.
If you accept her freely then you are telling her she can do it again and you will take it. Making her wait teaches her that her actions have repercussions

"pretty nice daughter"...what the hell does that mean? I guess to you, your daughter is just ok. I bet if you had a son, you'd think he is a king compared to your daughter. And for your information, YOU were the one who produced a daughter. Jesus, you people.
You should be asking WHY she had another man when she had you. What did this man do for her that you never did? Are you ready for her answer?

Now why would you want to be married to a woman who has proven her lack of self control? She's a cheat for heaven sake.

I had a fiancee cheat on me while we were engaged. She didn't have the courage to tell me. I found out from a relative who worked with the guy she cheated with. I held out my hand and she placed the ring in my hand. I never spoke to he again. It was my belief that if she cheated on me while we were engaged, she's cheat on me after we were married. Let her go but make sure you stay in touch with your daughter.
