...does that not first emenate from within? If one man pulls from the left and another from the right, it is a tug-of-war. But, if somehow, we can find a middle ground and stop fighting each other, will we not become stronger?
People, we are capable of tremendous and great acts if we work together.

This isn't a dream. If we want to succeed in anything we need to work as one and stop the civil war that has been brewing for so long now. This will be our downfall. We can be our own best friend or our own worst enemy.

If a man insults you, you have the choice of stooping to his level or rising above the situation. It begins with individuals not with governments.

The political polarization of our nation is digging a hole we may not be able to climb out of, if we don’t mend our ways soon.
United we Stand, Divided We Fall.

The problem is that, contrary to the PC slogan,it takes only oneto make a fight. The victim can either surrender or fight back.
So as long as we have people like Bush in positions of power, there will be no peace or security.

Very True but the sad truth is that this will never happen in our lifetime. We will always fight over something or somebody.
If we were all the same Everything, looks, race, height, sex, well maybe not sex we would find something to fight about. I can guarantee it. Our own unique disposition is what makes us what we are. The happy hunting grounds doesn't exist on the plane that we live on or in, unfortunately

You're right. We have to get it together and stop fighting each other. Nothing wrong with debate but that doesn't have to turn into fighting.

And communism is the "perfect" form of government. The reason neither will work is this simple factor...human nature.

Nice to daydream a little. But we live in reality. Men want to rule others because they feel they know what's best for all. The problem is - they don't.

I'm sure there was an actual question in there somewhere....
Yes, if we cooperate instead of conflicting, things will be better. This should not be news to anyone.
