Do you call your friends "girlfriends"? I always thought that we weird. You dont see guys calling their buddies boyfriends!

Well might be weird but we do it. I also call my guy friends boyfriends. Don't mean that they are but guy friend sounds strange. So does female friend. Sometimes I just say friend but if I want to specify the gender then I say girlfriend or boyfriend.

um. NO I dont. Cuz they are my friends. I call friends, friends no matter what. Cuz some friends are guys. I can't go around saying, this is my boyfriend, my husband might not like that :)

No, nowadays that would be taken wrong. People did that in the old days, and I still hear it sometimes, but I can't help thinking it sounds pretty creepy.

Never really thought about it, but you are right... Score one for the dolphin smoocher...lol I have never heard one of the guys refer to a friend as his boyfriend...don't know why us girls do it..now you have me pondering this...lol

I have done this....now days you have to be careful. People started to believe that I had a girlfriend......I told them that they were sick.
