It means your body is hydrated and you're breathing
"humid" air. Which makes it easier to sing and talk for long periods of time.

Never heard that term before and cannot find a reference to it.

Sounds like someone who spits when the speak.

Did you mean a husky voice? That is one that is hoarse or rough in quality: a voice husky with emotion.

Maybe you mean "smoky," or "husky."
Usually used to describe a lower voice range with a bit of an edge to it from too much tobacco or alcohol....
