People do not trust a man who lied to the world to make war on two countries.

He is hated because of that and seen as a world wide danger.

Signed, an ex pat living in the heart of China who has never met anyone here or in any foreign country I have traveled too that doesn't despise Bush.

Bill Clinton on the other hand is widely respected around the world and draws huge supportive audiences when he visits.

Peace

Jim

Well, I don't live in the US and when Bush came here there were huge protests. Why? Well, we seem to get shafted with trade agreements. Bush thinks he's the policemen of the world. He is thinks god talks to him. He is the most corrupt leader of the freeworld. He's trying to kill the American Economy and is doing a good job. He thinks anyone that isn't white is a terrorist. He doesn't care about what his people want/demand. He is generally seen as a war profiteer. He gets a hardon for oil rich countries. He doesn't care about what other countries/leaders think.
However I do have to admit, watching him on TV I would have to say that he is the most intelligent American I've ever seen.

Why foreigners hate Bush is impossible to answer with a single reason. Many would hate any U.S. president on principal and we can't be expected to account for all their reasons.

Of more account to us should be why so many people here in the U.S. hate Bush! After all,we elected him.

I do try though not to hate him personally while disagreeing with just about every part of his(?) foreign policy, assuming he was smart enough to even have one.

I find it hard to forgive him for telling us that God took him away from the bar he was propping up and put him in the White House! Last time I checked that was the perrogative of the American people. I will not blame God for George W.Bush!!

Additional notes to paranthropus below:
You do well to fear, my son. After all,Ronald Reagan already had Alzheimer's while in his last years or months in the White House and even before that .by public admission, he and wife Nancy consulted astrologers about important public matters(no wonder they got along so well with the Aristo- Bimbo,Lady Diana!) .

Hugo, the reason is simple, FEAR!..When he was in my country recently {Australia} he thought he was in Austria!..He also thought and said that he was at an OPEC conference!..It was in fact APEC!..He did not appear to know where he was, or what he was doing, or why! He was not seen as to intelligent by the media here. In fact, where ever he goes he frightens everybody by his total lack of understanding of local people, beliefs and culture!..Example-His seemed determination to have democracys in Afghanistan and Iraq!..It is not possible to do that as Islam utterly opposes any form of democracy!..The President is either being badly advised or someone {oil people} is controlling him! Most people around the world believe the latter! This is the reason why, quite unfairly, Americans are disliked, even hated increasingly around the world! Sheer greed and avarice seems to rule in the USA and it looks like the average American either doesnt know, or doesnt care! So you get the madness of 911 and they all wonder why!..Think about it!

He does not hate the world

He does just NOT UNDERSTAND THE WORLD (like a lot of US citizens) and takes therefore decisions which are not always the best.... or might only be the best on paper under an American point of view.

Remember that before running for President he almost never left the US.

For many reasons- part of which he is a puppet to the Corporations seeking Monopolistic control over all resouces.
Furthermore he incites hatred amongst his own people against nations which have never harmed them to distract them from the fact that Bush is actively oppressing them.

What has Chavez ever done to the US? He is even friends with some of the US city mayors and a very good friend to the unseen-unheard American poor.
This is why Bush is afrai- that one day the people will awake to find themselves robbed naked and imprisoned by their greedy Corporate elites.

Viva le Revoluzione! Viva Castro! Viva Chavez! Viva Bolivar!
Viva American people! Fight your Oppressors!

Bush is hated because he's a bumbling screwup, period.

Presidents that had great relations outside of the US (Carter, Reagan, Clinton to name a few recent ones) weren't nearly as reviled as Bush outside of the US.

Because he has done nothing to be admired and respected by vast majority of people around the globe.

Not by the world, by the left. And please, share with me one U.S. president that hasn't been met by protests everywhere he travels outside the United States.

Great spin you've got there. It adds a lot to the value of your question.
