It's very cute, its's different like I've never heard that name before but it really it cute =] and nothings missing.
Oh and it means Dark Blue which is kinda cool if you ask me.

I've never heard it. I've heard Blaze. I think Blae sounds like something is missing. But that's just my opinion.

Blae kind of sounds like "Blah" and also reminds me of "bray" the sound a donkey makes - and baaa like a sheet.
I guess what I'm saying is that it doesn't sound like a complete name to me.

I don't care for it - I agree with the comments that it looks too close to Blah.
Have you considered Bay? Same feel, but a word that should be recognizable, even if it is not commonly used as a given name.
