Taking yourself out of your comfort zone. This mostly depends on your budget, commitments, mobility issues, etc.

It could be a simple walk in a local park you've never been to before. It could be a short or long-term volunteer activity. It could be a travel opportunity, a job change, counseling, etc.

I think we get stuck in ruts and don't know how to climb out of them when the view is the same. Meeting new people, finally pursuing a hobby you've always wanted to try, exploring different religions, etc. - even if that one particular task isn't the answer in itself, the very fact that you've taken one tiny step can open you up to new possibilities around you.

Go to Tibet, live with the Buddhists, learn from them, be careful you don't get executed by the Chinese hardliners that want Tibet back. If that doesn't work, go to Australia and live among the Aborigines, learn from them, acquire a taste for Kangaroos, come back home and loaf around like you are probably doing now.
