Not only is Nebraska going to cover the 11 pts, I think they are going to win the game. Other than Michigan, USC got beat by every decent team they played last year, and almost lost to 3 terrible teams. And now their beat down of Michigan in the Rose bowl does not look that impressive. I kinda want USC to win so that the LSU/USC match up stays a possibility, but I really think USC looses this game.

Nebraska's last outing was not impressive and they barely squeaked out a win. However, I really believe they were looking ahead to this week's match-up. I think they are hungry and have something to prove. Whatever Nebraska has in its tank they will leave it on the field. I look for them to win in a close battle.
As additional support and to vent a bit, what pisses me off with ranking USC No. 1 from the get-go is that yes, they destroyed Michigan but that doesn't look like a big deal right now. However, in my mind the biggest upset in college football last year was USC's loss to UCLA. All USC had to do was beat an unranked opponent and they would have been in the BCS championship game. Therefore, Booty has yet to prove to me that he can win the big game.

I think Nebraska will have the most fans than any other team in the country on Saturday. I know they will be my second favorite team on Saturday. Tennessee being my first.

USC will completely dominate the huskers... Its been decades since Nebraska has seen so much speed and talent on one side of the ball.. USC will destroy LSU for the BCS..SEC is way over-rated when it compares to USC alone!!!

I hope so. That would be hot. Not temperature-wise... but the way Paris Hilton says it. I think it's more meaningful that way.

I'll want to root USC on, because I want them to play LSU in the NC, but the likelihood of that happening is tiny... so so small (that's what she said). I will root on Nebraska as they are one of USC's toughest opponents this year. I am hoping for an upset, but probably won't see one unfortunately. USC will squeek by like last year to power-house Illinois.

HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! tonydgr8... your posts make me laugh. Yes, Florida played close games against quality opponents. Name one of those teams you mentioned that is close in caliber to Illinois. None of them. Florida State was a close game to a less than mediocre team, but it was a rivalry game. Rivalry games are always close, as I'm sure you know from that terrible USC loss to UCLA last year.

USC defense will rise up. Nebraska is going to be in a world of hurt.

ufwalk- Squeak by? You mean like UF did against Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, FSU, and Vanderbilt last year?
USC will stomp a mud hole in the overrated Cornholers. Florida will lose to an overrated Tennessee team.
The end.
