How can I get my wife to realize that fun does not have to stop once you get married?

I am not talking about cheating just fun in general my experience is once your married your wife wants all fun of any type to stop immediatly.

I think I have been duped.

OhOh, You walked the aisle. Didn't you know that you were to leave your carefree life at the door and now have to knuckle down into work, marriage and struggle?
If you think this is bad now wait until you have a baby.

If you want some insight into her attitude take a look at her parents. Attitudes regarding marriage come from home.
You must explain that just because you are now married
you did not expect to give up your youth instantly and certainly did not expect her to turn into her mother so soon. Usually comparing her to her mother will shake her back to reality.
Further explain that you are serious about your life and marriage but a big part of that includes harmless fun.
Attitude adjustment is never easy.

Sounds like she thinks marriage is a finish line and not a journey. She maybe trying to play a part she thinks marriage is about. Sounds like she wants to play "grown up". I would be direct with her and tell her you fell in love and marriage who she is and not this boring "adult" she is playing at and you are going to keep it real and fun and when she gets tired playing "wifey doll" you'll be there.
