and of course I can get red or purple in normal single or double breasted styles, if you've a reason to avoid zoot suit.
I'm going to a very large, costumes required halloween party of 600 or so friends, so over the top is what I'm going for, barring 10 hours in a makeup chair.
Points for reasons for your opinion :)

I forgot to mention the very important part that I"m going to paint myself all red with black highlights! So there's already going to be alot of red, and long black nails, black around eyes and in depressions (highlight bones basically)

OK, i'm hearing red from alot of you and my friends. I guess I'm partial to purple, would it be that bad? You're starting to sway me though.

Totally red suit with a black shirt under and black handkerchief Personally I would love to see like a dark red suede suit.It would do perfect with the red and black highlights.More of a classier devil look.I think the purple would be more of a willy wonka look.Great detail that your putting into your outfit.I would love to see the way it turns out.Have a great time.Hope this helped!

Since you will already be painting your face red, go for the purple. More of a contrast and besides it will be Halloween, don't you think the devil himself would want to dress it up a bit? I mean after all, he wears red all the time.

i like the purple suit too. i think if you are going for a zoot suit devil that the red is so standard. the purple makes me think zoot suit more.
it will make you stand out more.

It's true I never seen a purple devil before lol.I go for red or black.If you like the odd then chose purple.

I like the purple. It doesnt scream devil but its still kinda cool and sexy. lol plus its my fav color. Go with the purple.
