I know that the blue springs near gainesville is natural but the water is cold (72 degrees). Are there any hot springs anywhere? My bf has never been to a springs and i would like to take him there. Any ideas? (hot or cold is fine, but i prefer that the water is hot).

Nope, no hot springs in Florida. Wekiva Springs is a good place to go, as is Crystal River on the west coast.

I know there is a hot spring in or near Homestead, Florida; however, I am not sure of the exact location and appears that after Hurricane Andrew, the army place a do not traspassing sign, not sure if at this time it is open, maybe if u try parks and recrations in Homestead, Florida link you will find it.

actually, there is more than one blue springs in flordia. there is the one in volusia county, the one near gainesville, and i think there may be another farther south. almost all spring in florida are cold, but they are really beautiful and unique so i think you should go anyway. i did hear about a warm spring in central florida, but it was warm, not hot. only like 80 something degrees, and you can get that in a lake
