My 4 mo. old easily rolls from back to stomach, but not so much stomach to back. She also doesn't like to lay her head to the side when she's on her stomach. I am now getting up several times in the night b/c she will start screaming when she gets 'stuck' on her tummy. How can I fix this problem? She used to sleep 11 hours solid during the night:o) Not anymore!!!!

Children often have troubles sleeping through the night when they are learning a new milestone. That is likely what is happening here. I don't think there is much you can do other than keep flipping her over. She'll out grow it in no time, just to move on to something else that interrupts her sleep.

Trust me though, it will pass quickly.

while her ft and head are up against the rails, does that make her awaken and cry? If no longer, there quite isn't any ought to circulate her once you verify on her. If she will become uncomfortable, she would be in a position to circulate herself. SIDS is something that each and every physique mum and dad worry approximately. Bumpers interior the crib do no longer reason SIDS, even even with the shown fact that. on an analogous time as SIDS is classed because of the fact the surprising, unexpected loss of existence of slightly one below the age of a million, maximum circumstances happen between 2-4 months. the present advice is to initially lay your toddler down on her returned to sleep until eventually a million 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous. If she is in a position to roll or circulate herself, it is okay. I even have been a mom for 27 years to 4 little ones and a baby care service in my homestead for two decades. My oldest little ones are 27, 25, and 22. while they have been little ones, maximum toddlers slept on their tummies because of the worry approximately choking on spit up. while our youngest (ask your self!) became born, the returned to Sleep campaign had all started and it took some getting used to putting her right down to sleep on her returned even even with the shown fact that I were doing it reluctantly for my daycare little ones for a pair years. My advice is lay your toddler down on her returned and allow her discover the region it is gentle for her.

Both my kids went through this. Not much you can do besides go in there and flip them over, they do sell pads that are supposed to keep them from rolling over, but they didn't work on my babies. In a couple of weeks she'll start rolling back over herself.

PLACE A ROLLED UP BLANKET AGAINST HER BACK THAT WILL KEEP HER FROM ROLLING TOO MUCH AND JUST WORK WITH IT TO MAKE HER COMFORTABLE.

We bundled our babies like they do in the hospitals. That might keep her on her back.
