I got a bit woozy. It doesn't bother some people at all...

I didn't used to, but I fainted when I was at the hospital with my husband who had gotten a huge gash in his leg in a motorcycle accident.

Funny, he was the one injured and I'm the one the ER staff came to "help" first

The thing that helps most to get over it is for the person to stop trying to get over it and accept the fact that they are going to get sick and that getting sick isn't a big deal. She should plan on feeling sick and sitting down when she encounters blood. She should grab a buck to catch the puke. Once people realize this, the fear of blood usually disappears. Sort of Zenish. I taught an anatomy lab with human cadavers and students did this all the time at the beginning of the semester and some of those people ended up becoming surgeons!

No it doesn't bother me.

Instinct kicks in and i automatically try to find the wound on the person and stop the bleeding. Administer first aid and all that jazz. When there's a lot of blood there's no time to be squeamish. Although if it's a lot of blood sometimes the smell is slighlty nauseating and overpowering...... it has that copper smell.........

No, blood doesn't bother me. I glove up and go for it. Now, vomit is ANOTHER story. The sight of vomit will have me puking right along with the other victim.

I'm strange. It doesn't bother me at all. I even happily watch nurses draw blood from my arm. Maybe I'm part vampire.
