The bike you mention is a collectable in high demand and it's value is totally defined by the condition of the bike. Stock, completely stock is best. To think that KBB could be beneficial in this matter is to be totally uninformed. If the bike is stock and runs well $3000 is the norm. Extra nice=Extra price. A repaint, nice it ain't. A good stock style repaint is better than a good custom paint job. Miles are not that big an influence on these. Tires do not matter. The exhaust system must be stock and in good condition as replacements are getting hard to find. If it's not nice, it's just an old bike.

Kelley Blue Book didn't have any listing for a '73 Z1, but did for a '75:

1975 Kawasaki Z1B
4-Cylinder
4-Stroke
900cc
Suggested Retail Value $1790

not sure what you mean "with no rego"????

also, you would need to try using your zip code to get a more accurate reading for your area.

"Dogbettor" pretty well sumed it up except for having the value of having the orginal seat. The orginals were called a "vinyl crucifix" because they were so gosh awful painful to ride any distance on. 99.9% of the long haul guys changed the seat pronto and tossed the old one, many because their new seat used the orginal seat pan. If the seat is the orginal, it's likely to be in ratty shape unless extremely well cared for. I recently saw a NOS Z1 seat on ebay and the last I checked it was over $300. Not sure what it finally sold for.
