There are specialty cleaners at Auto Zone and sometimes in the automotive section at Wal Mart. As much as I like to use regular household products, sometimes a specialty cleaner is the best option.

Just use your regular car cleaning product and an old pair of pantyhose, rolled up in a ball. Dip the pantyhose ball into the washing solution and with circular motions rub away the bugs. Won't hurt or damage your paintwork and will get rid of the bugs. Hose off as much of the bugs as you can first, then continue as above. Good luck!!

buy a can of Tar Bug spray it on and wait a minute and swipe off the bugs, works great.
