The New York Times gave Moveon.org almost a $100,000 discount on the ad? So much for an unbiased media, huh. Petraeus hadn't even given his testimony yet, and he was condemned...and apparently with the tacit approval of the New York Times.

RKO...It's not hard to find. You can do a search if you don't believe me. But here are a few more details:

Jake Tapper at ABC News reported that MoveOn.org paid $65,000 for its full page anti-war ad. According to Michele Malkin, MoveOn.org received a $102,000 discount on the standard political advocacy rate that is advertised at $167,157. In fact the amount MoveOn paid is less than any rate listed in the New York Times schedule.

What documentation do you have that this kind of size able discount was given??
Newspaper rates are 'nebulous' - many newspapers give discounts for certain kinds of ads, or provide discounts for certain kinds of organizations. Many newspapers offer discounts for early editions which don't have as much circulation. Most newspapers have frequency discounts, special rates for certain run dates, etc., etc.
It doesn't necessarily mean that the newspaper in any way 'approved' or 'condemned' anything. -RKO- 09/13/07

No real surprise there. The media is becoming less and less UNbiased because fewer and fewer groups are in control of more and more news outlets.
