Jimmy Durante doing "As Time Goes By".
We had seen the movie "Sleepless in Seattle" and my wife loved that version of the song and played all the time. She passed away a short time latter and we decided it was the song to play at the funeral, so like you that is the reason. If I hear Jimmy Durante doing it I get tears in my eyes. Just writing this is doing it.
It causes no problem when I watch "Casablanca" when Sam sings it.

Yes The Living Years by Mike and the Mechanics. Brings back memories of when I was younger in my teens and I never had time for my dad. Before he died. Hits real hard.

So many.
Well, it's strange; almost every song I love brings back memories and the ones that bring back strong memories make me sad. Even if they're not neccasarily sad memories, they make me teary. Maybe they're not sad tears, though -- not sure.
I relate to songs TOO strongly sometimes...

Tonight by Reamonn brings back bad memories... I can't even listen to that song, even though in the beginning I loved it.
Goodbye My Lover makes me cry every time, but brings back no bad memories.

THere's one song that hits top of the list
1. I'll be missing you, by Faith Evans
2. My Immortal
Their about my brother, they bring up the memories of him, and how much i miss him and stuff. That should explain enough. If you listen to the songs you'll get it. My Immortal video, i just start crying whenever i see it
