i wud get tears in my eyes an say how ded u know i missed how i used to sew as a kid, an i wud feel liek it was a sign to finally buy that sewing machine aha~ *smiles blissfulle* or i wud blush remeberin how wendy gave peter pan a thimble when she wus too embaressed to kiss hem, an i might thenk u expected me to kiss u *blush* ♥

If it were an opal thinble with diamond holes as a seauveneir from Paris, Las Vegas, New York or the Caribbean, then I'd think you cared about me a lot. If it was just a .99 thimble from Walmart I'd think you really hated me and wanted to express how little you thought of me.

If you gave me a thimble as a gift my first thought would be why does she want me to protect my thumb. The second thought what does she want me to sew for her.And a third thought would be does she have a duplicate in one of her hobbies as a collector of thimbles. You know some of them can go as high as 20000 dollars at auction if it is rare and in mint condition. Lastly the song Frere Jacque comes to mind.

Yes, it would be a very happy thought. My grandmother collects thimbles, especially from different states, so my first though would be of her.
