I've got a system and video bios created in 2005/2007, would they be recent?

I took my computer to the technician, and after checking it more than once he couldn't find any fault with my computer. I need a computer expert to reply to this question.

That all depends on what MOTHERBOARD you have, if that is the latest bios the manufacturer released, then YES it's recent, if not then NO it's not recent.

it all depends! for example, 2 days ago i found out there was a more recent version of bios. i was told to update it from the website. for ex. the type of comp it is! go on either dell,hp, mac.com etc..
