Yes and no... I believe the US Army and intelligence agencies (which are not Neo-Con organizations) have weakened the resources of Al-Quaeda but the policies of this administration has spurred recruitment in Al-Quada and also spurred copy-cat terrorist groups. I think this administration has actually made this country more of a target than it once was. We certainly have more enemies now and undefined enemies at that.

It has also created huge trade deficits... to China specifically which is alarming that they were once a semi-enemy with a powerul enemy. Both Al-Quaeda and the United States have been weakend monetarilly speaking.

As much as I dislike Al Queda, who are a disgrace to Islam; I also dislike those neoconservatives who are fascists in a way, who are a disgrace to all of humanity.

Over the past few weeks, Iraq was relatively calm.

No, its not because of the troop surge. Just under 200,000 troops is not enough to secure a medium sized and a complex country like Iraq.

Its because the US ambassador to Iraq and the General Pretues did their best to gather local support in the fight against Al Queda in Iraq over the course of the occupation. Most Muslims do not support Al Queda.

Guess the US general and ambassador did the president's job. Those two deserved to be honoured in the future.

The neocons are victims of their own stupidity.

And regarding the issue of global warming, I think many Americans are ignoring the problem; describing it as a "myth". Maybe they should have a closer look at what goes on in other countries as far as natural disasters and their effects are concerned.

USA and China are the world's largest producers of greenhouse gases.

Both should sign the Kyoto Protocol.

No, they haven't. And they never planned to. You can't promote the Politics of Fear, by solving problems. So, just like with the "Drug War," they chose a strategy that not only wouldn't work, but guaranteed that the problem would get worse. Which enables the plotters blame their critics for the inevitiable failure and demand more money and power.

In the case of the Drug War, the strategy was to force up Drug Prices. This ensured that there would always be somebody greedy enough to take the risk. In the case of the Terror War the stratedgy is to recruit new terrorists from among those angered, frightened or personally harmed by the "New Crusaders."

The reason, Bush declared Victory, but didn't pull out after the fall of the Sadam regime is that he didn't want Victory. He wanted the War. That's why it's practically considered Treason to mention Afghanistan. That war was going too well before Bush pulled down troop strength--and now we're all supposed to forget that it's still going on.

The NeoCons nearly created AlQueda

The BBC did a great program that lays it out in detail here:

http://www.reallynews.com/video/pon/powerofnightmares.htm
The Power of Nightmares - there is a much larger group called the Muslim Brotherhood, but as their goals are local and about freeing their countries from corruption, it does not fit the Neocon need.

A faction of the Muslim Brotherhood led by Zawahiri made Bin Laden their figurehead because he had money. The actual name AlQueda was invented in New Jersey so they could charge Bin Laden in a RICO case. Only after that did Bin Laden sell the name as a franchise like it was KFC.
(the BBC show lays out the details)

Without the NeoCon haranguing the name and invading Iraq, Bin Laden would be hiding from his fellow Muslims as much as the US. After 9'11 Bin Laden was revulsive to people across the world,. It was only the worse actions by the Gang Of Pirates that gave him street cred again.

regardless of in case you call it the worldwide conflict On Terror or no longer, this is not constrained to easily Iraq. many countries have found out the possibility posed by ability of terrorists and have stepped up efforts to neutralize them. there is greater advantageous worldwide cooperation. money laundering is getting tougher and tougher. Inteligence centers are becoming greater centred and proportion suggestion so as that action may be taken domestically. it truly is an prolonged, no longer person-friendly combat, however the sturdy issues in existence are nicely worth scuffling with for.

The neoconservative imperialists have only EMBOLDENED al-Qaeda and their Islamist affiliates throughout the world. A "holy war" of sorts is what Islamist extremists have been yearning for, and the globalist neocons are falling right into their trap by allowing their Christian conservative allies, who have their own religious ambitions, to push them into the fray.

They've helped Al-Qaeda recruit more people and grow stronger. The wrongful invasion and occupation of a middle eastern country has created a fertile ground for recruits. I fear we are playing right into their hands.

Well if you really want the truth then Yes The Conservatives have .If you want typical Liberal propaganda lies then no we haven't. It's not so much that conservatives are Geniuses it's just that conservatives are so superior over Liberals that it makes conservatives look like Geniuses when they are compared to Liberals.

Not according to reports.

They all agree that Al Queda is back up to it's pre-iraq invasion strength.

Of course, those reports were just anti-american, pro-al queda, and treasonous.

(And put out by this administration).
