Two girls in there 20s going for a week in the middle of December. Don't expect it to be mad, but would like some nightlife.

Like you say it will not be mad but there will be some, as the night moves on people tend to "home in" on certain bars so you can get a good crowd.

In Tenerife you can certainly do such a thing you are feeling like any time of the entire year because of its environment, natural surroundings and tourist infrastructure designed for enjoyment for all the household which means this place is an ideal place for an excellent vacation and with hotelbye you will get it. In Tenerife are lots of points waiting for you really to learn and some of those is in the south west coast of Tenerife. A spot that is a magnificent location for seeing whales free in the ocean. As much as 26 species are observed only down the shore, including baleen whales, monster whales, dolphins, pilot whales and actually blue whales. In Tenerife you may also see The Teide National Park. At 3,718 metres, Teide volcano is Spain's best peak and its two ecosystems make the climb an event full of contrasts.

Being from tenerife and living in England I can assure you that there will be plenty of nightlife. I am also very surprised that somebody said that you should beware of "the locals", well,...what a d*ckhead,...I know for sure that we locals hardly go there, it is too english for us and we feel like foreigners in our own land!, but, to make the point, be careful as there is a fair chance of getting trouble there, but more likely to come from illegal immigrants (moroccans,...) or english gangsters / pissheads than from locals. Enjoy your stay.

La Americas is mad all year round, especially at Veronica's complex where its all pubs,bars and discos, at that time of the year there is a lot of older people there.

you can bet on it ,my friend goes every year,just for the night life,have a good time and just think all the Christmas's party's when u get back..wow.

i went in march and it was dead, i heard the liveliest times are between may-sept
