when it comes to money i am pretty good. keep the things sometimes taped to the box. want to be protected if ther eis a problem...too hard to get the money these days

actually when i buy something, i dont plan to return it. once it is bought it mine.
after whatever is baught, i come home unpack it and throw the receipt in the garbage. i have no use for receipts at all.
after i leave the store they are history.
i only keep receipts because if by chance they want to check my package or bag to verify i validly bought the item and double spot check i hold on to them until i leave the store. hey, by the way, do you hold on to your receipts? if so why? can you get it written off of your taxes? if so, let me know! i have thrown away so many receipts i could make a paper factory!

Not usually, but I have lost a receipt for something I needed to return.

Only the ones i need!!!! i'm eligible for a full refund for my brakes on my car, because they recalled the rotors, and i've got 26 receipts in my car, but not that one!!!

No. I stick it all in my purse or wallet. Then when I get home I stick them all into a shoebox so I know where they are if I need them again. Then a few months later I go thru them and throw them away.

I used to, but now I put them all in an envelope. When the envelope gets full, I go through them and toss the ones I don't need.

I don't lose them, I usually just throw them away when cleaning out my purse.
