Is it because they can bash conservaitves and back up their assertions with facts?

No links showing how moveon.org has not made a good factual presentation attacking Petreaus?

Fact is Petreaus is simply spewing Bush propaganda, as shown by:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/09/05/AR2007090502466.html

Why the classified documents iff the escalation, I mean surge, is not failing?

BTW, I had never been to moveon.org's webvsite until i read a conservative letter claiming moveon.org was questioning Petraus patriotism, arguing that we can ask Petraeus "tough questions", yet give him unconditional support. My source is here:

http://www.cwalac.org/artman/uploads/cwacoalitionletterpetraeus.pdf You can see this is far more than a single conservative nutball, it's a whole bunch of conservative nutballs misrepresnting moveon.org's criticism.

But it's moveon.org which provides good sources for their arguments, not conservatives.

Conservatives live in fear. Fear of the communists, fear of the terrorists, fear of homosexuals, fear of athiests. They fear anyone who can think. Funny how they never had the same outrage when the swiftboaters were slandering Kerry.

With all the chest pounding and bravado they spew, they just hide behind the flag or the troops.

The GOP: keeping us safe from "it" since 1950.

Well, that's certainly a narrow minded point of view. Sort of like moveon.org. Don't you libs say the same thing about Fox News? Limbaugh? Hannity?

Aren't you just as bad as all the conservative you despise when you look at everything from one side? That's the problem with moveon.org

There are a lot of gray areas in the world.

Moveon.org is full of assumptions and speculation and opinion presented as fact. It is the liberal equivalent of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and the SwiftBoat organization.

All of them are irresponsible and care more for their respective sides than the good of the nation.

I'm a Democrat . . . While I differ on the term "afraid" I'm certainly questioning their collective judgment. Did they really need to do that? The military belongs to all Americans, not just the other side . . . Obviously it is good policy to question the military and disagree if necessary but this far exceeds the limits of good taste.

Just like Republican fanatics hurt my party, the Daily Kos and MoveOn.org hurt the democrat party.

moveon.org is a big help to Republicans actually, their hate speech and lies do the democratic party more harm than good. Why would I fear an organization that turns people OFF of liberalism? The only ones defending it,well, they make conservative seem like the better thing to be

I actually think they damage support for the Democratic party by alienating the average US voter.
So let them spew their bile all they want

They are afraid because they saw how powerful the "SwiftBoats" ads were in bringing down John Kerry with lies. The "moveon" ads are similar but they are backed up with facts not lies. The administration has had people jumping off the ship like rats!

I don't understand why they get so fired up about moveon.org, either. For years, they've been supported by organizations like the John Birch Society, the Cato Institute, and Moral Majority, so why they get fired up about the organizations that support us, I don't know.
