We are suppose to have a Christmas get together at Centenial-The doctor has ok'd Denver altitude, but can find nothing for Centenial. Some of our people have heart problems and have been ok'd to go no higher than Denver and certainly no mountains. Help, I don't know where to look for answers.

One thing you need to be aware of is that within the Denver Metro area the elevation changes - all of Denver is not one elevation. So if they can't go any higher than Denver you could have a problem - they better not move around once they arrive :)
I can't imagine the small variations within the metro will make a difference.
Centennial is considered a "new city of sorts" which might be why it's harder to find info.
I did find this though: the elevation at Centennial Airport is 5840 ft.
But keep in mind, like I mentioned, it will vary as you go around even Centennial.

Will help you have an idea of how much it varies around town.

Will give you an idea of the surrounding cities.
Hope this sort of helps :)

Google map might give the elevation but I use to live in Littleton and the elevation difference is only a couple hundred feet. So there should not be a problem. Since Denver is 5280, Centennial is probably no higher than 5500 and the doctors are probably refering to anything higher by like a thousand feet.
Or you can go to Barnes and Nobel and pick up a map book that shows the elevations.

If they're okay'ed for Denver, they will be okay in Centennial. There's not enough difference in altitude to even notice. I don't know what the difference is but it's probably no more than a couple of hundred feet and most likely a lot less. Might even be a little lower.

Denver is 5280 feet (mile high ) Centennial is about 5400 feet the elevation changes are not much it the surrounding towns.. The foot hills just west of Denver are only about 6500 feet. Just remember to take it easy and drink plenty of water while you are here, The climate is very dry, easy to get dehydrated

I do believe that Centennial is of a higher elevation.

Denver is around 5,200ft and I am pretty sure I have seen/read somewhere putting Centennial at about 5,800ft.

Maybe someone else can confirm or correct me?

The altitude of Centennial varies from 5351 Ft. at Arapahoe Community College to 5869 ft at Arapahoe Airport. So basically Centennial is from 70ft to 590 ft higher than Denver.

I doubt that the difference in altitude is significant, but you should certainly consult your physician. My personal advice is to take it easy, don't over exert physically & practice moderation in imbibing alcoholic beverages.
