Can i take a pregnancy test three days before my period is due?

I have been experiencing cramping in my lower abdomin, nausea, hot flashes, and frequent urination..My mom also told me she had a dream that i was preg? Could i be pregnant?

You can take one anytime you want LOL But, if you are pregnant, you may not have enough hormone for the test to detect it. Or you may have tons...it's impossible to know how much you have unless you have a blood test. As for your second question - if you've had sex, you could be pregnant. All the other things - the "symptoms" - could be pregnancy or anything else.

You can test positive with a hpt as early as 10dpo. Most doctors recommend you wait until 12 to 14dpo to avoid a false negative. I took one at 14dpo and it was positive. I used the digital ept. I confirmed with the dr the same day by blood and my hcg was 67. Good luck.
